Welcome to, formerly

The name has changed, but the essence of TCS will remain as we continue to provide the news, commentary and analysis on a range of issues you enjoy, including science and technology; business, finance and economics; politics, law and foreign policy; entertainment, media and culture.

Our discussion and feedback boards were one of the most popular features of the old site, and they will continue to be one of the most important features of the new site. The writers and editors thrive on hearing from you, and the readers love it too. If you were already registered to post feedback at, you will need to re-register again at the new site. But I assure you it's fast and painless and worth it.

Once you are registered, you'll also have access to the following benefits and more:

  • MyTCS - personalize your TCS experience
  • Expanded discussion boards
  • MobileTCS - access TCS from your mobile phone or PDA
  • Expanded regional coverage from around the globe
  • More newsletter options
  • An expanded Bookshelf

In addition we'll be featuring more audio, video and podcasts in the future and involving our readers and fans in the generation of this content.

Many of these new features were suggested by you, our readers, and we hope that you'll enjoy the new TCS experience!

We will be fine-tuning the site over the next few months, so please continue to let us know what you think by emailing us at Thanks!
